Product Description
Non-return PVC ball valves (PVC ball check valves) are designed to prevent backflow in a piping system and typically feature a
solid or hollow plastic ball that seals against an O-ring or seat. Key specifications include the material (usually
UPVC or
PP), a pressure rating of around
PN10 to PN16 (150-235 PSI at room temperature), and connections such as socket, threaded, or flanged ends
Design Type: These are generally "ball type" check valves, which use a free-moving, solid or hollow plastic ball to block the reverse flow. The design is often simple, with no spring mechanism in many models, relying on gravity and backpressure to seal. True Union designs are available for easier installation and maintenance
- Pressure Rating: Typical operating pressure is around 6 kg/cm to 10 kg/cm (PN10/PN16), which is approximately 150 to 235 PSI at 73F (20C). The pressure rating decreases as the fluid temperature increases.
