Product Description

• Size/Diameter: All three connection ports are designed for 16mm (approx. 0.62 inches or 5/8") outer diameter (OD) tubing or drip line.
• Material: Generally made from high-quality, durable plastic, such as Polypropylene (PP) or Nylon, with UV stabilization for outdoor use and resistance to heat and chemicals.
• Application: Primarily used in drip irrigation systems for branching the network efficiently, but specific models are also suitable for pneumatic systems (air/vacuum/water).
• Design: The Y-shape (angled) is specifically designed to provide smoother water flow compared to a standard T-shape, which helps in reducing pressure drop. 
• Connection Type: Most commonly feature barbed ends for a secure, leak-proof, and tight fit without requiring glue or clamps. The pipe is simply pushed over the barbs. Push-to-connect fittings are also available for pneumatic applications.
